Hi, we are relatively new to the sport of ATVing, but i just noticed on your heading that your lodge is in haliburton. Do you guys have trails close to the lodge, so we dont have to trailer?
We stayed at one of the wife's friends cottage in haliburton a couple years ago and man is it a beautiful area close to the city(TO) for us. So we might want to ride it one day... thanks in advance!

Hey Poo,
Kashaga Lodge has two locations; the main lodge is on Lake Kashagawigamog, 3 1/2 km of ATV-legal road from the head of the railtrail in the village of Haliburton. The other property is in Gooderham at the edge of the 5-Points. Either way, no trailering required.
If you wanna know what ATVing is all about at Kashaga Lodge, try pm’ing ArcticMike. He’s a bit of a cynical bastard, but he loves ATVing, especially around Haliburton and Gooderham. Mike is also a cheap bastard, and doesn’t like wasting his money on trail passes either. (And the good news is “No trailpasses required in Gooderham.”) For that matter, no trail passes required in Haliburton till the railtrail opens June 1. But unfortunately, you have to run extra road to get to the Hillbilly, Bark Lake, Goat, and Miserable Lake trails until the railtrail opens.
Thanks for the question,
mountainGoat
