2016 South River Legion Poker Run - Saturday, May 7th

The 2016 South River Legion Poker Run is on Saturday, May 7th and will have a $1000.00 pot. Registration starts at 8:00 am near Allen Sohm’s gravel pit on Rye Road. You can also register at the South River Legion Legion Branch 390 before hand in person or by sending an Interac email transfer to the legion using rlcbranch390@hotmail.ca. If you send an email transfer please also email them with your Name, address and phone # so they can contact you for the security question.

Please note that all riders are required to register. Many of the trails are on private property. There will be people at the trail entrances verifying registration.

Price $60.00 per ATV, extra rider $30.00, extra 50/50 poker hand $10.
Poker hand drawn during rally. As usual, lunch on the trail at 12:00 -2:00. Dinner in the South River Legion (Branch 390). For more info call the Legion at (705) 386-2906 or Grant at (705) 386-2251.

Here is some additional information about the rally, and places to stay. (Thank you Trout and mgrenier for posting the details above for me while there was a permission issue with my account posting here.)

To get to the start point once in South River head west at the lights (Ottawa Ave) until you get to the first stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Eagle Lake road. Then take Eagle Lake road for about 20 km and turn right onto Rye Road. Follow the signs on Rye Road to the gravel pit (beside a house overlooking a pond).

I did this ride for the first time last year a pulled 3 Aces, won the $1000!great ride! Gonna try to make it back this year, but theres gonna have to be some convincing as it falls right on my sons birthday!
