My Ride: polaris sportsman 70
I have an 07 700 sportsman. I have changed the airbox/ baremetric temperature sensor. The check engine warning hasn't cleared it's self and the same error remains. I have tried disconnecting the battery for 15 mins. should I switch the key off and on 6 times while holding down the yellow button then run around the bike 3 times then jump up and down yelling to the sun gods please clear this error????
Any help would be a huge help. thanx for ur time

Two ways I know to try,

Turn the atv off, in neutral turn on the atv while holding in yellow button for 10 sec then turn it off again.

if that doesnt work then take both battery cables off and touch the battery cables together not for a sec and that should clear your ecu.

I will try that next weekend when we go back up to the cottage. Thanx for your time this has been making me nuts. The polaris web site is of no use.
