I have a 2004 Polaris ATP I have use for work for 9 years. I have put the ITP Terra Cross tires in it and love them. I have priced a set for our 2011 850 Touring Polaris and will have them in a week.

These are great all round long lasting tires.

Well, I've had ITP Mudlite XTR's on a 500HO for many years. These were excellent in mud and any other terrain. I'm going with a set of STI Black Diamond XTR radials on my new 850 touring. Buddies of mine also have Uber Growlers (excellent but pricey) and Swamplites (always getting punctured).

Just picked up a set of STI Black Diamond XTR's myself... haven't got them mounted yet but, everything I've read on them is positive... including the price.

I currently run 27" swamplites but I'm thinking 28" Mega Mayhems next.

I found the Swamplites ok in the mud but don't clean out very well. As for dirt roads because they are a bias tire the centre tread wears fast at high speeds.

If you ride a lot of hard pack and dirt roads you might be better with a radial tire. A little more money $, but from what I hear they don't wear as fast.
