I picked up a 90 off a buddy that had been sitting outside for a while, overall not bad shape. Problem Im having is that I cant get it running, I put fresh gas in it and new plug, cleaned the carb but it just wont fire, it comes close once every 10 kicks but thats it. Spark seems kind of weak, it has compression but also seems weak. Last time it ran was beginning of last season. I believe its a 2001 but cant confirm as I cant find any information on the frame.
Can anyone give some suggestions.
thanks

Does it have the tether cord? If there is spark and fuel I would start with the compression test.

Seeing that its a 2 stroke what should it be at, I can turn it over by hand.

Ok just to update, I put the new piston, rings and jug on, put it all back together and it almost ran Once but that was it. A google search of this bike shows that Im not the only one with the same problems. Does anyone have a service manual by chance, Ive searched and searched and the only so called free online manuals just put you in an online never ending loop.

Sorry to hear. I got my manual on ebay for $15 shipped. Emailed me the PDF format that day then received the DVD a couple weeks later. Well worth it, paperback is $80.
